how it works

How it works
1) Medical assessment & mapping
Your registered clinician reviews your goals (e.g., lip definition, cheek contour, jawline balance), medical history and facial anatomy. We map key structures and plan the safest approach before any procedure is considered.
2) Safety plan
High-risk zones are identified and photographed for your record. We choose the delivery approach (fine needle or blunt-tip cannula) and, where appropriate, may use ultrasound guidance. The aim is precision with the least tissue trauma.
3) Asepsis & comfort
Skin is cleansed, marked, and prepared under sterile technique. A topical numbing method and other comfort measures are used where appropriate.
4) Precise placement technique
Minute amounts are placed into specific tissue layers to support, contour and blend with surrounding structures. Methods include linear threading, micro-deposits and fanning to smooth transitions. In delicate areas we work slowly, with low pressure and continuous control.
5) Sculpt & settle
Gentle moulding may be performed to refine shape. Initial fullness is visible straight away, then the area settles over days as normal post-treatment swelling subsides. A review window is scheduled to check symmetry and discuss any fine-tuning if clinically appropriate.
6) Documentation & after-care
You receive written after-care and escalation instructions. Photographs and notes are added to your medical record, and we outline when to contact us urgently (e.g., severe pain, colour change, or vision disturbance).

Important Note
We’d love to show you exact numbers, but we can’t—wrinkle-relaxing products are classed as prescription-only medicines. Current Australian laws and regulations require all clinics to keep those detailed prices off public websites and social media.
We may not be able to post exact figures online, but we will give you a clear written quote after your consultation—no hidden fees, no pressure.

What To Expect?
1) Before your appointment (1–7 days prior) Health check & disclosures: Tell us about medical conditions, past procedures, allergies, cold-sore history, and all medicines/supplements (including blood thinners). Do not stop any medication unless advised by your prescribing doctor. Timing around events: Plan at least 2 weeks before important events. Swelling or bruising can occur even with careful technique. Other treatments: We generally recommend spacing dental work, vaccines and facial procedures (peels/laser) at least 1–2 weeks away from any cosmetic procedure—your clinician will advise for your case. Lifestyle prep: Minimise alcohol and strenuous exercise for 24 hours pre-visit. Arrive well-hydrated, with a clean face and no active skin infection. 2) On the day — assessment first Clinician-led consultation: We review your goals (e.g., lip shape & definition, cheek contour, jawline & chin balance, under-eye hollow), take medical photos, and map facial anatomy. Suitability & authorisation: If a prescription-only procedure is appropriate, it proceeds only after prescriber authorisation and informed consent. Personalised plan & quote: You’ll receive an itemised quote after consultation (we don’t publish per-unit/per-syringe prices online). 3) Comfort & safety Asepsis: Skin cleansing and sterile technique. Comfort measures: Topical numbing and other methods as appropriate. Technique: Your clinician may use fine needles or a blunt-tip cannula, sometimes with ultrasound guidance, to place small amounts precisely within specific tissue layers. 4) During the procedure (typical chair time: ~15–45 minutes) You may feel light pressure or a momentary sting. Placement methods can include micro-deposits, linear threading, and gentle fanning to blend with surrounding tissues. We pause regularly to reassess symmetry and proportion. 5) Immediately after What you’ll see/feel: Initial contour is usually visible right away, with normal swelling or tenderness that settles over days. Mild bruising is possible. Moulding: Your clinician may perform gentle shaping at the end. Back to routine: Many people resume light daily activities the same day; your clinician will tailor advice to you. 6) First 24–48 hours Use a clean, cool compress intermittently for comfort. Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, hot yoga, alcohol and facial massage for 24 hours (or as advised). Sleep head-elevated the first night if puffy; avoid pressure on treated areas. Delay makeup over injection sites for 12–24 hours or until the skin is intact. 7) Days 3–7 Swelling and unevenness typically reduce; small palpable bumps can be part of normal settling. Do not massage unless your clinician instructs you to. If you bruise, consider concealer once the skin is intact. 8) Review & maintenance A review visit in 2–4 weeks is common to assess symmetry and discuss conservative touch-ups if clinically appropriate. Longevity varies by area, individual metabolism and the plan used. Periodic reviews help maintain consistent contours over time. 9) Red-flags — contact us urgently Severe or increasing pain, whitening/mottled skin, dusky colour, unusual numbness, or any vision change(blurred vision, shadow, loss of vision), or new severe headache. You’ll receive written after-care and an urgent contact pathway at your appointment. 10) When we may defer treatment Pregnancy or breastfeeding Active infection (cold sores, acne cysts, dental or sinus infection) Recent dental work, facial procedures or vaccinations (we’ll advise suitable timing) Medical conditions/medicines where risks outweigh benefits
before & after

DOWNTIME 2-4 HRS
PAIN LEVEL ●●○○○
TREATMENT TIME 20-40 MINS
As we age, our faces 'deflate' - areas become flatter or sunken. It is caused by the decreased ability of the body to produce enough collagen and elastin. Collagen and elastin allow the skin to return to its normal tight and plump state. Once the volume is lost in the face, it can give you a hollow and sunken appearance.
Targeting these areas with dermal fillers can restore the volume lost and enhance areas while still looking natural. Dermal fillers can also be used to fill deep folds and help to improve the appearance of scars, fine lines, and creases. The dermal fillers contains a naturally occurring sugar found in the human body, helping to keep our skin hydrated and looking more youthful.
